MSF Calendar

I have a lot of respect for all the incredible work Medecins Sans Frontiers is doing around the world, and I saw it as an interesting challenge to do something creative for such an organization.

The design is a bit unusual in terms of what these kinds of organizations usually will sell – or give – to you. My idea was to create pages that were visually interesting but with a bold message; a calendar that you could put on your wall as something artistically captivating.

Each page consisted of an eye-catching title text and illustration, and a quote from an MSF published article together with a relevant quote from a historical person. The point was to convey a clear message about the areas where MSF are working, and to convey this in different ways using facts and comparisons with famous statements to provoke some deeper thought about these places in the world.
