Byrknes Auto

Byrknes Auto is a transporting company located in Norway with headquarters in Byrknesøy. The company was founded in 2000 by Stein-Inge Larsen, and had only one truck available at that time. Now the company has offices in Bergen, Ålesund, Oslo and Tromsø in addition to Byrknesøy, and the expected turnover of 2009 is NOK 270 million.

Byrknes Auto wanted a modern redesign of their website while keeping their existing logo. By utilizing red, black and blue as the color palette, the design does not stray from the colors of the logo. The large grid-based layout gives the website the modern appeal and face-lift it needed.

The design and the conversion to html and css was done by me, while the server-side CMS implementation was done by Rolf Bjaanes. I was employed at Powow when working on this project.
