what I have been doing

Up through the ages I have worked many places and with many people. I have been a graphic designer and web developer at one of Norway's largest ad agencies, and I have worked with a lot of skilled and interesting people while running a company together with a good friend of mine. I now run my own one-man business called Tor Damian Design, and I am trying to broaden my skill set further by exploring new directions of interest.

this is me

I was born in Norway on the 12th of June, and I'm half Norwegian and half Dutch. I have studied both technical drawing and graphic design, and I'm a self-taught programmer.

I love music. I really really love music. All kinds of it. I have favourites in most genres imaginable, from country to metal, classic to trashcore, dance to noise rock. Whatever is good is good.

I'm a graphic designer, a programmer, a poet, a writer and perhaps altogether an artist. I like taking walks alone, and I love graveyards. It's quiet there, and there are more birds there than anywhere else in the city. I love birds. And cats. Cats and birds are probably my favourite animals, but I am very fond of animals in general. I'm a vegetarin because that's the only choice that seems ethically and environmentally right to me.

I am a firm believer in the scientific method of thinking, and I strive to live a holistic lifestyle. Simultaneously, I consider myself a spiritual person because I believe spiritualism is simply the "grey area" of our existence; it is what we can't yet – or perhaps never – explain as human beings. It does not mean it is mystical or magical, it simply means it is unexplained. Which is what magic really is; something that remains mystical only until explained.
